I am going to the range to shoot a 308 precision riffle.  I have been looking all over to find out how to break in the barrel, but for the life of me I can not find it. Does anyone know how to break in a barrel on a precision riffle?

EDIT: This is a bolt action riffle if that makes a difference.

Kreiger Barrels Break in procedure

Hope that helps. It's all about keeping the copper fouling out of the microscopic mill/machine marks until enough rounds are fired to 'peen' them shut.

Have fun at the range!
