Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR15.com Engineers: ASTM Standards for Tensile Testing Help Needed

I need some help getting some standards.  It's annoying to do research, because the paper copies are unorganized at my school and online costs money.

I'm looking for standards for testing plastics (starch-based, plaster-based, ABS, urethane).

Preferably the samples would not be round, and would be fairly small.

The parts are to be tested with an Instron slow-pull tester ...

Aren't there whole books on ASTM book of standards? I'd imagine they shouldn't be too hidden in the library...
