It's been three years since the fire. Are they finished as a performing band? Or have they done any gigs since?

They were finished before they ever got started.

When your greatest hit is a cover, you know you aren't a superband.

I hear they were pretty hot at one time, about 3 years ago.

Fromt he Rock and roll bar I worked in during the 80's I remember asking, "Who is that" and them saying Great White.

I wish I knew some of those titles, some of that was great R&R.

They had their 15 a looooooooong time ago.
Don't get me wrong, I turned that damn song up loud just like lots of other people did cuz it was cool at the time.  But, that was then, this is now.....

Their biggest hit was 'rock me', which is an original iirc.

I shouldn't laugh at anything that's posted here.

But I might.

Bigger than "Once bitten, twice shy?"

funny, I drove right by where the Station nightclub was yesterday - - now just a dirty parking lot with a bunch of memorials at the far end. I am still freaked out at how those poor people died

When the accident happened at the bar, there was a thread at Fark that was full of guilty laughs.

I can still remember the one that made me CRY I was laughing so hard: "Didn't they know that rock and roll burned?"

Remembering from back in the day, I'd say yes. 'Rock me' was their breakthrough hit that launched them to 80's stardom.

I still remember hearing "Once bitten twice shy" more often than the other, but I could easily be wrong.

Good days for music. I just listened to some Tesla yesterday.

I do think "Once bitten, twice shy" was a bigger hit, but "Rock Me" was the first hit that put Great White on the map. I actually like "Rock Me" more than the other.

I asked this question because I was listening to "Monsters of Rock" CD. Mmmm. '80s metal. I didn't care for it too much back then but I like alot of it now. Go figure. Must be nostalgia for days gone by. Funny, those are *our* oldies. Wow.

Yup. 100 people died at "The Station" venue in Warwick, RI. I drove past there all the time. Just a vacant lot now.
