A coworker stopped me today to ask a "gun" question.  Here is what he asked:

"I have an H&K P7 pistol and my dad wants to trade me for a Yugoslavian SKS that he has.  It's covered in some sort of goo, but I really want it, what should I do?"

I let him know about the value of his pistol, the value of the goo covered rifle, and about the SKS in general.  I offered to let him shoot my Chinese SKS if he ever feels the need and made him promise me to never sell the pistol or let me know before he does.  He stated that he thought it was a good deal since the pistol only holds 8 rounds in the "clip."

It's amazing what people will do to one another.

Let's see...$80 rifle covered in cosmoline with a (most likely) crappy barrel that may leak at the gas port causing it to be a single shot automatic vs. the following:

P7 #1

P7 #2

P7 #3

Like I read here a long time back ... "Trading a P7 to get a good deal is like the Special Olympics ; Even if you win... you're still retarded".     Stay safe
