I see Calvin and Hobbes in a lot of threads.

Not 87 a day, mind you, but still....

As to the original topic, I would be one pissed cracker if I missed the (90 minute!) season finale of Battlestar Galactica.

That's what I did.

I haven't had a TV since 1998.

I did have a tuner card in my PC, but it only worked for about a year before it broke and I never bothered to fix it.

I only keep track of a couple of television shows, south park and the family guy, and I do that by downloading new episodes off of the net.

Other than that I watch pretty much zero television.

When we moved into the new house it took about two weeks to get a cable guy out to do the install. He found a problem. Then it took another two weeks to get that fixed.  So we went a month without cable. I honestly never missed it.  I tried to talk the wife into no getting it at all. But she wasn't up for that.

On Wednesday my DSL connection was down all night. That was tough.

TV doesnt control my life. The only day I really care for is friday nights and for some odd reason I like Extreme home makeover. Aside from that, its usually on the History channel, Discovery, G4 or cartoon network, and even then  im not glued to the TV.

Only thing that bothers me is my parents (grandparents), they live here and there older than dirt and well, they like there TV.
