OK, I'm gonna be an 07 FFL (manufacturer) SOT (Class 3).
I need to come up with a decent business name. Normally I don't give a damn about such things but I will be doing a lot of Class III registrations which means the business name will be engraved on the firearm. For that reason I obviously don't want to go with the usual "goober names" most gun businesses seem to gravitate towards. Nobody wants THUNDERBOLT FIREARMS engraved on their HK or FN firearm. I also don't want to use my actual name, not that I won't be proud of my work, it just doesn't look right on a firearm. I'm thinking of my customer here and am trying to keep the goober factor to a minimum. So I need something that will look right on a firearm as well as on a letterhead. Winning entry may be entitled to a free letterhead. |

For a store yes, but don't you think that will look silly engraved on a firearm? Again, the reason I need the business name will be for Class III registrations. This means the business name will be engraved on the receiver of the firearms I do Class III work on. |

Pick something patriotic, or something suggestive, something that sticks out and maybe lets people laugh a little. Don't pick a stupid name, do some research. Come on guys help him out a bit.

What area of the US are you in ? Might get some other ideas knowing what region you are in. |
|
|
"Not for Civis Arms" "EvilBlackWeaponsArms"
I suggest whatever title you use build a .com site and put .com/net in the name. Creative advertisng and name recognition. Bloodbath and beyond was awesome. |
|
Won't matter as most of the stuff I will be doing will be sent in. Not really gonna be a "gun shop" so much as doing class III work and build projects. But will be based in the Carolinas. Not even sure if I'm gonna have a storefront / showroom at all. Premise will be a warehouse bay. |
