I enjoy the hell out of it on camping trips, but most people have never heared of it before.

Do you have change for 10,000,000?

I had a buddy really into it.  It was ok, but I could never get as enthused about it as he did.

We used to play the hell out of it in college. That and Modern Navel Battles. I had a pirated PC version that was pretty fun to play as well.

I won first prize in that game back in the mid-80sat a gaming convention. It was a pretty decent game, and the expansion was even better. Too bad it's not more popular; most people I tried to introduce it to thought it was ghoulish.

is it anything like the game called "war"?  two players put down cards, high card takes the pair. if the two cards are the same then you put one card face down and another card face up, and the high one wins all the cards that have been put down. repeat until you have all the cards, or ar bored out of your mind

OMFG!

I played SO much of that game.

I owned a game shop and, almost always had the
local nerds hanging around playing....They
were they best for drumming up buisness.

DAMN that was a fun game.

I loved dumping a dumpster full of warheads off satellite platforms on someone.

"Dude...You drop that cruise missile on me and, I'm going to empty
my fookin' orbital weapons on you!"

That's Super Germ.  Super Virus look like a vampire.

I once brought that game into work!  (Really!)

During lunch I’d get that game out and we’d play!

About this time the movie War Games was still in memory.  When lunch time came one or another of us would say, “Shall we play a game?”  Out came the game and away we’d go.

Once Christmas I drew a Christmas tree, but without any decorations, (You should see the things you can do with colored thumbtacks, pipe cleaners and assorted magic markers) and posted it on a bulletin board.  We took some of the cards, made copies of Certain cards, and stuck them on the top of the tree.  It looked like the Little Old Lady on a scooter was chasing a Spy up one side of the tree and down the other.

And, NO!, the game never interfered with our work.

Shades of Fort Hood and the yells of "Back off 10 klicks and nuke 'em until they glow!"
