So i woke up saturday, and i was just beat felt like crap, I end up drinking a cup of coffee about 30 minutes before my test.

Drink the coffee  and i start feeling better, now my run was very good felt like I had a ton of energy through the whole run.

I always was told you are suppose to stay away from caffenated drinks before a run? especially coffee cause it dehydrates you?

It does dehydrate you but in the short run the stimulant effects outweigh it. I wouldn't PT with it.

Vasoconstricors and bronchodialtors will improve your run time, and
will also be very hard on your body.

Your best bet is to hydrate aggressivly the day before the test, as well as load with complex carbohydrates.

I've read that caffine can increase your endurance by up to 30%. Many professional cyclists are coffie junkies, so I don't know if there's a correlation there or what.

Coffee has been know to enhance performance for a long time. Long term use can affect bone density adversely though.

Caffeine can work. The international sports doping agencies consider it doping if the levels are above a threshold. Back in the day some athletes used to take caffeine suppositories.

I used to chug a liter of Mountain Dew code red an hour or so before I took a PFT, and I always got better scores on my run time than if I just hydrated.
