My truck broke down.  It was a 2000 model with 85k miles on it.  No problems up until this point.  GM product.  Something in the electrical system.

On a related note, has anyone tried to take the battery out of a newer GM truck lately?

Sorry......

There's just no need for GM to be competetive, so they won't even
try anymore.

Sucks dude.  The Toyota truck plant just opened in San Antonio.

They're made by Americans.

Wish I could help, but I don't have a dual advanced degrees in automotive engineering and Crap Manufacturing.

My next will probably be a small Toyota of some sort.  But that one is about 3 years or so away.
