I am adding a after market deck.

I bought the PAC OS-1, thinking that is what I needed.

The wiring harness for the car does not fit the one for the PAC.

Could the Onstar be aftermarket?

Does the 2000 Buick Century Limited have an amp?

Oh no Bose or RDS in this car.

I have searched the web allot this afternoon, cant find anything about the car w/ onstar.

thanks...

IM bigscrun, he's the car and bikes mod and runs a stereo shop.  Onstar is an OEM thing IIRC.

Just from looking it up, its day that the 2000 Century has the standard 32 pin radio plug, about a $12.00 part, you will need a dash kit and antenna adapter also. Does your car have Onstar? If so where is it? In the dash, rear view mirror?

Here is what the aftermarket wiring kit looks like.

i will buy one tomorrow.  But how do I incorporate the PAC Onstar interface?

Onstar in the Rear view mirror.

I have the Antenna adapter

The adaptor sends onstar audio to one of the existing speakers and restores the door chime when the factory radio is removed.

I understand that.  I added PAC OS-2 in our Avalanche.

I am really thinking there is a amp somewheres in this car.

I can control how load the Onstar is with the OEM deck.

Also I noticed that the car has "Concert Sound", w/ tweets

The twisted pair in GM's are usually low level audio signals. I'd peek behind trunk panels and under the rear deck to see f there is an amp. if there is subwoofers in the rear deck, and full range in the rear doors, there probably is an amp.
I have no info stored in my brain for this particular model of car. I'd have to dig deeper just like you if I were doing the install.

Called Crutchfield, they had nothing to sell me.

I picked up the "Standard" wiring harness. plugged it in, tested each speaker.  they all responded, so no amp.

I need the schematic for this cars radio harness.
