i purchased one a while back and never got to shoot it yet...wondering who has one and what they think about them.

cmon guys...hard to beleive noone here has a Stoner, and nobody that owns one has any opinions of it?

I have an SR-15 M4. It has the best features, fit, and finish for the price, and I got it NIB for a real good deal. It is my current favorite, and by far the gun I shoot most.

My only dislike of the rifle is the barrel / faux flash-hider. I'm having it replaced with a chrome-lined Bushmaster barrel, and permanently affixed brake.

As soon as my wallet permits, I intend to buy others, including the SR-15 M5, and SR-15 Match.

couldn't the faux flash hider be replaced with the Wilsons permanently attached "bird cage" muzzle brake lookalike?
