I know what you mean... i think these idiots ought to realize that anything can be used as a weapon. Why dont we ban TVS because its possible to kill someone with it?? And whatever happend to blaming the person for their actions... guns arent to blame for deaths, people are. I ended up purchasing a 9mm so I wouldnt have to lay in bed at night and worry that my abusive ex husband was going to kill me and my baby. I have a restraining order that says, no contact for 1,000 feet, by the time he gets that close the peice of paper will have done no good, i will be dead. I can sleep now at night knowing I have some kind of protection. I live in washington, one of the most liberal states in the country, it wont be long and they will take my right to protect myself from him away.  Thanks for posting this, its very interesting.

This sucks I am a logistics officer and I love my AR's they are mine and mine alone!!! I might be stationed at SCOTT AFB and now they say I cant have my weapons.  Well they are not assult rifles they are not full auto or burst standerd Semi well they look like one so I am a dumb@55 and cant tell the difference well here is my steak knife going to take that away too since more people are assulted with knifes and frying pans.  I think Illinois just became a domestic enemy and according to my oath all enemies foriegn and domestic.  Hmmm Daly Hmmm lets see they keep taking our rights away without even trying to change the constitution Glad I have 10 more mags on the way to NM Now I really hope I dont go to Scott AFB I thought it would be a good assignement.  

I will go to Minot before Scott at least I get my freedom but its so Cold.......sorry wife Illnois is a bad state now I volunteered for Minot and Grand Forks that way we can be free.  What do you mean; well Illnois wont let us have the our guns we are entitled to have according to the constitution and I cant live in a place where they will not let you be free and cant trust lawful people who are willing to defend their family and friends.

And that is why we DON'T live in a democracy. We live in a Represntative Republic. Big difference, and the left has been pushing the 'democracy' thing for so ling that most people really DO believe that this is a democracy.

I corrected my Ethics teacher on that point.

And if you think that people know the difference, and understand which one you are using, you are wrong.

That is one of those little semantics games that goes a long way to further the left.....

In a democracy it is mob rule/Majority rule. In a representative republic, the rights of the minority are protected from the tyranny of the majority. And until that distinction is understood, we will go further down the drain.....
