I like it, and so does everyone that's seen it.
Mostly for looks....kinda inspired by Tigerstripe. It's awaiting it's coat of Dura-Caot Flat clear and re finish of the buttplate. SG

Oh, I have both the classic walnut stock, an arsenal birch M14 stock with cartouches to refinish AND the custom synthetic stock. The M1A is an all USGI Springfield Safe Queen that I saved from a friend. Paid 1000.00 out the door with 8 new in wrapper USGI mags.  SG |

All the quotes I got were too high, and being as I'm a graphic atrsist i decised that me and my airbrush could do just as well. After doing it myself, I still think that most custom painters are too high, but not by much....lot of labor involved. Thanks for the comments SG |
