Well I got the safe thing taken care of so I dont need to buy that.
Also got the computer stuff at a decent level, until that DVD drive dies.
Went looking for a pistol since I felt I needed a new one and couldnt find any that appealed to me.

Im not looking for deals on stuff I want to buy for a change.

What are you looking to purchase

1) A new head gasket for my truck and time to install it.
2) Either a Colt 1911 or a Springfield XD 45ACP. I'm having a tough time deciding between the two.
3) Ammo, ammo, and more ammo.
4) 75" of CAT5 cable to hard-wire my PC to the router in the den. This wireless shit is for the birds.
5) A steel front sight for my Glock 17, a Glock armorers tool, and one or two 31/33 rounds mags for it.
6) (Not realistic ATM) A '06 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, in Hunter Green.

Enough compliant parts to finish the 9 AK kits I have left. other than that it would be:

More mags, then
More mags, then
More mags, then,
More mags, then

Maybe some more ammo

Are you all talking about "Walk the Line" with Gregory Peck, I just watched that tonight on cable, decent movie.

An AR15 of some type (leaning toward a Bushmaster, Armalite or Rock River 16-20" w/ collapsible stock and detachable carry handle)
A 1911 in .45 (probably a Springfield or Kimber)
A nicer surround receiver, like an Onkyo or HK
Beer
Onions and celery, with which to make split pea soup.

Something tells me that only the last two are in my immediate future.

a PVS14 and a ACOG TA01NSN, either a ACU pattern cover for my IBA or a ACU pattern LCE type setup that utilizes the design of the LCE H harness but in a modular fashion, and molle waist harness instead of a pistol belt.  Blackhawk makes what I want but I dont wanna be stuck with Blackhawk anymore.

i get the same thing.  Usually it starts out with "do you  get to  work day shifts at your job?"  Then it goes on to an implied i need to just  hang in there and good things will happen.  maybe I should buy new shoes.  you can see my socks through the toes on both feet and my socks through the sides on both feet.  I  bet i could  impress  someone with new shoes.

What I actually think is funny is that people associate shift work with bad pay.   not always the  case.  My father makes a  pretty good living and  has  to pull graveyards.
