This house would be a hell of a SHTF setup.

This is how they grow it in Tennessee . This grow was underneath a
house in a cave. The entrance was through a secret hydraulic door in the
garage that led to a concrete ramp that went about 50 yards into the
ground. Inside the cave was living quarters and a secret escape hatch that
led you through a tunnel that exited via another hydraulic door that
opened up a rock on the outside. It was very elaborate. The set up
allowed them to harvest every 60 days which resulted in multi-million
dollar sales. One of the guys busted was living in a house on the water
in FL and had a nice yacht.
One of the agents here in Nashville worked on this for 5 years
before the warrant was finally served in December.

Really!

Judging by the cop car in the first pic, the owner of the house must have been arrested.
They'll have to make room for the guy in prison by releasing a few convicted sex offenders.

We must make the country safer by forcing growers to serve their entire sentence without early release.

How would you hide the power consumption for an operation that large?   How would you vent all of that heat?  Seems to me that they should have been al over this operation sooner than 5 years.

Wonder how much the house will sell for when it goes up?   Nice ammo storage if you could keep the the mositure out.

different strokes for different folks. I personally would like a setup that would serve for both weed growing and SHTF.

If you're going to go to all of the trouble for a setup like that, I'm guessing they're using generators.

Electricity use, thermal dissipation, smell, the people who helped build it, the secret entrance is pretty obvious, and the fact they appeared to have been spending money like there's no tomorrow.

I could care less about the hippy bastards, but that is alot of money in that set up, not inclusing all of the growing equipment. That would be a kick ass bug out area aside from the fact a quarter of the nation probably knows about it now.

I'm betting what got him tagged was owning a yacht and lavish home in Florida and filing tax returns of making $50K or so.  Big red flags to the IRS.   Houses, yacht, cars are now govt property

Waah wahh! Crybaby! Look, i love terrorists. it took 5 years for that investigation? good. Each time some gov't agent spends time busting pot heads and hookers and non-seat beltwearers, and "public intoxicaters" The less eyes will be on the look out for my friends who are smuggling "stuff" into America so we can make you Pay for what you havedone to our people!! Look at the mechanicals...everything straight, level and neat.  That's no cobbled from a junkyard operation.  Beats the crap out of most greenhouses I've been in, but then green houses don't have the cash flow he did.

From a few stories I've read, in Canada, growers rent a place where they can tap the lines before the power meter.  I'm guessing they probably did the same or used jumper wires in the meter.  Unlikely generators were being used.

A quick google search will reveal that they spent a TON of money on all of the lamps for that operation. Metal Halides and High Pressure Sodium for round-the-clock greenhouse operations = expensive.

I just drove through "The Hill" on Monday.  Lots of Italian flags.
