Put a linux box with an 80G Drive on it.
Run snort or other packet sniffer.
Fire up XWin, and run Ethereal
It will show the "streams" of all text transferred from each system, to each site, along with images.
Basically, everything that went over the wire unencrypted, broken down by source, destination, or protocl (ftp, http, telnet, etc)
Nothing in cleartext is "invisible", no matter how much "clutter" you try to put on the line with it.
I fired our first nanny when I was married (1999, before voice was king), watching tcpwatch in an ssh session to my house while at work. She was looking through the personals at yahoo, and chatting with a few of them.
I printed out the chat sessions, the profiles of the guys she was talking to, and her profile, then got the wife, went home, and fired her an hour later.
She claimed it was "popups", and had the wife all sympathetic, until I showed her the rather "seedy" chat sessions which were a bit more raunchy than playboy's "letters".
