I have a Glock 19 that is a couple of years old, that I don't really have any use for anymore now that I have a 1911. My brother is interested in purchasing it, but I don't know how much to sell it for. I would guess that I have shot probably about 500 rounds out of it. I have 2 10 round mags and 1 30 round magazine, and I think I paid about $450 - $500 for it.

What's a fair asking price?

Without night sights and since you only have 2 10 round mags, it's worth $400.

With NS and some 15 rounders, you could sell it for $450-$500.

If it's not a 3rd. generation frame, it's worth less.

You could easily get what you paid for out of it around here. Here in Eastern Oregon glocks are way over-priced (new glocks sell for $550-$600 at the cheapest shops

)

I would guess $350-375 for it.

I don't know what generation it is. It looks just like this one.

I agree around 375 without night sites. You wont even get that much to trade it in at a local gun shop.

I bought a Glock 19 from a local Chief of Police about 15 miles away from me. He sold the

Glock, 2-15 rd mags, the box, 2 leather holsters, and a box of 9mm win. FMJ for a high price of

$300.

The funny thing is, that is what I expected to pay for one that is early second generation,

but my cousin sold his Glock 17 third generation,brand new, with 5 LEO marked 17rd mags when

he was late on a house payment. I gave him $300 for his Glock too.

Both are great guns and what I conceal carry.

If you try hard enough, you can get a new one for $450.

I got a 2 month old glock 26(relatively the same price) with NS, 2 10 rd mags, 2 15 rd mags for $450 shipped.

My rule of thumb is $400 mid-size Glock in very good condition and 3 full capacity mags and NS.

I'd discount $40 for no NS and $15 for each non-full cap mag.

Add in $20 for the 30-rounder if it is Glock. Less if it is Shure.
And add in $5 for each 10 rounder.

So, the most I'd be willing to pay for your gun is $400-$40-$15-$15-$15+$5+5+20)= $345/$350.

That is the most I'd be willing to pay. Of course, if I was selling I'b be looking for a bit more.
