"Come on, Cohaagen! You got what you want. Give those people air!"

How he failed to receive an oscar nomination for his performance is beyond me. The academy must be biased against republicans!

I beg to differ. Arnolds best and most intense wok was one of his earlier films entitled "Commando". His portrayal of the "everyman" we all are was amazing. His ability to convey the joy of fatherhood and horror of kidnapping was spellbinding. On a darker note his ability to bring across the experience of being a veteran was almost blinding to watch. I can only assume he reached back into his days with the battle hardened Austrian army to achieve it.

While that was undoubtedly a performance for the ages, my vote goes for Arnold's heart rending, classic line from Commando: "I eat green berets for breakfast!"

I must confess it brought a tear to my grizzled eye.  I thought he ate only BDU caps for breakfast.

True Lies was his best role. Okay, maybe that one where he went to Mars or some outer space place and everything was a dream(?)

when i clicked on this thread, i thought it would be about his acting this morning on meet the press.  russert was trying to get his goat a little with news editorials and his failed election agendas.  at least he trying.  anyway, he's ok, but i do not think "he'll be back" as the governator.

True Lies
Everything after that was down hill.

"Have you ever killed anyone?"
"Yeah, but they were all bad."

I don't think there were many after that.  T3 was it no?

You guys have no respect for how difficult it must be to run around in a loin cloth, fight large reptiles and take on James Earl Jones himself. Everything after that is a walk in the park.

Last Action Hero (ugh!).
Eraser (OK).
The Sixth Day (not too good)
Collateral Damage (5/10)
End of Days
Batman and Robin

"Jingle all the Way" was a HOOT!!! Had a great supporting cast.

Reminds me of ARFCOM when something "cool" and "gotta have" comes out.

The absolute best Arnold experiance is watching the Conan the Barbarian DVD with Arnold comentary.  It is simply the funniest thing one can watch while kickin back with a couple of brews.

Lines like:

"You remember the time I punched the camel.... Ya that was funny."

"Oh I remeber this part... with all the people banging"

You guys just like commando because you got to see him in a speedo. That fruitcake with the chain mail was a dandy character. I also liked when he blew up that building with the guards in front of it, the building blew and you could still see the dummies being held up by sticks. Pretty sweet.

Arnold, pretending to be a fiscal conservative on Tim Russert's show today may have been his greatest acting role.  Not sure if he made it....couldn't watch...besides I was cooking dinner.

A $260 billion dollar infrastructure project over the next 10 years.  Bonds on top of bonds.  If he hasn't joined the dark side I'm not sure what you would call it...oh yeah....he's a "moderate".

""I believe very strongly in what Hillary Clinton said, that it takes a village to raise a child," Schwarzenegger said.

The comment came in a speech in which Schwarzenegger said children should be taught early on to exercise and eat well. The issue is a new focus of the governors group under the leadership of Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who's lost 110 pounds on an exercise plan.
