I really like my AR15A3 Colt Tactical Carbine. It does everything I want it to and shoots great.

ARs are the best. I picked up a preban lower recently, and have been as giddy as a schoolgirl trying to figure out what to do with it.

Mine is the one I was issued in RVN '67. I just finished a reproduction with the tri HGs, old grip and original stock. To make it just the way I would like to have it I need to find an Colt SP1 lower to replace the EA I've got on it now. $$$
Love that three prong F/H! Had a buddy bring over a friend of his to check out the repro SP1. The guy fell in love with it. He's now wanting me to build one up for him. Can't wait to spend his money! |

WOW!!!! Am I jealous or what? Nice looking guns...My little AK shorty is feeling inadequate..poor little gal! Maybe I need to take her to the range and run a coupla rounds through her to show that I still love her.

SP-1, lightweight 16" barrel that I think I am going to cut down to 14" and weld on the Vortex, Vortex FH, M-203 side sling adapter, JFS Redi-Mag, Meprolight front sight, Canadian upper (for brass deflector), A2 rear aperature, 3 position stock with no slip pad fromn J&T, front push pin from DPMS, and a sling kit from Bushmaster (I took off the front of the sling kit to use the -203 adapter. I use the front of the kit on an L1A1). Tim J. It is light, handy, accurate, and sweeeeet. |
