How would it stack up against a HOWA 1500 Varminter?
I can get the Howa for a lot less and have heard fairly good reviews. This savage was a sweet looking piece of equipment though....decisions decisions...

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I have two Howa's and couldn't be more pleased with their accuracy and how excellently made they are. |

I kind of choked. 3/4 inch (three-fourths inch) groups at 300 yards? I was gonna call BS, but then realized you said 3' to 4' groups. I'll believe that.
