I dont want to do any gluing or other mods. The safe already has carpet on the inside of the door.

Cannon Makes a replacement door carpet with handgun pegs on it, I think it was 30- bucks or so.
I have been thinking about getting one myself. |

If you have carpet on the door you should be able to use the holsters, they stick to the carpet using the rough side of the velcro.

I've got the one that hangs and has 8 holsters velcored to it. The holsters need to be stronger but they do hold the handguns ok.

Cannon make a piece of carpet that sort of hooks on the inside of the door and come with Sixk velcro holsters. I use it and it opens up alot of space.

I was thinking something like a hat rack that has pegs on it to hang pistols by their trigger guard.
Something similar to FALARAK system except the hooks are connected and hang down from the top of the door. |

Fort Knox door mount rail system, some drilling and covered with button caps. You can always move the hooks around quickly when adjusting for another aquisition. Hooks are plastic covered.

I agree 100%. This has worked exceptionally well for me for many years. My safe had a plain metal interior, so I used 3M Super 77 adhesive to attach toolbox drawer liner material. I used ordinary chrome-plated clothes hooks from Home Depot, but dipped them in rubberizing compound (Plasti Dip). I also hang a bright red tag on the hook for guns that are loaded (although all are treated as if they are). You can use sheet metal screws, but I strongly recommend machine screws with star washers and nuts. I have 12 hooks on the door and room for 2 more. I recommend spacing them 9" apart horizontally and 6" vertically. If your door 22" wide or more, space the hooks at least 10" apart.

i like the single hook idea i used the pegboard handgun racks from cabelas they come with a plate to mount to a flat serface i would post a pic but don't know how
