There was a front page article in the Birmingham News Sunday about a local sniper , with 70 kills, who had been in Iraq, he made a one shot kill, that is considered the record for the M24 (1250meters). The article is hot linked and talks about him and his units, job gaurding roads and killing insurgents(200 total) while they were planting IEDs. Very good read. Its in the Hometown/Gulfstates section. I think a lot of you would enjoy it, and if it could be moved to the hall of heros, or the deployed section,  or other appropriate forum, more people would see it.
