My fire department is having our annual smoker in the end of March. Drinking, gambling, eating, raffles, the usual stuff. This year I was put in charge of getting the guns to raffle off. Last year we had a 9mm. sub-compact XD pistol, a .204 remmington rifle, and an over/under of some sort. If it was up to me, I'd get a 1911or an HK, an AR, and an 870, but I think the dept. only wants to spend $1500 tops. Two other problems are, the place we usually work with to supply the guns, are anti EBR, and everybody likes the idea of having an over/under shotgun. What would you guys go with? I also like the idea of 9mm, .223, and 12ga. because most of the time, the people who win don't do alot of shooting. These calibers are fairly cheap to shoot and will hoefully get the people out shooting more. Any help would be great, thanks.
