Roger Moore was the biggest loser of them all. Then that Dalton nitwit is next.

Connery, Moore and Brosnan all played the character well. I’m kinda bumbed that Pierce Brosnan gave up the role.

Connery - the original.

My 2nd favorite is Roger Moore.  Timothy Dalton was the worst.

Roger Moore...he was Bond of my generation...
Although Connery's Scottish accent still makes me quiver....
But BROSNAN???

I never saw the problem with Timothy Dalton.  I'm not a big Bond fan, but I never understood why so many people whined about his movies.  They seem like all the others.

You're the man now dog!

Brosnan is a very close 2nd.

Moore was the Bond of my generation too... but when I compare him and his movies to Connery/Brosnan and their movies? Not even close.

Connery was and will always be the quintessential Bond to me, the standard by which all others are compared.

Pierce Brosnan was an excellent choice as Bond.

IMHO Moore didn't exemplify Bond the way Connery and Brosnan did. I did like "For Your Eyes Only" ...

There is only 'one' 007.

Pierce Brosnan.

ETA: I cannot believe they picked this new blonde dork for the role.

+1 although brosnan could have been #1 if they'd had the same quality writing as in the connery films and cut out the campy techno bullshit...

Sean Connery

Your poll is fuxored...it's not recording votes correctly.
Sean Connery had more sheer force of personality and was a better actor than the others, but as for me, I liked Pierce Brosnan in the role more than anyone else.  He just seemed to fit it.

Connery, no contest. Although his stance on guns is less than favorable, he is still my favorite actor

my favorite bonds in order,
Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan
Timothy Dalton
Roger Moore
George Lazenby: last place only cause he only did one movie but HMSS was one of the better movies.
I thought Moore sucked after moonraker

I dunno...For me it was a toss up between Connery and Moore. I liked Brosnan, but he wasn't in enough movies to make him "Bond" in my mind. Don't get me wrong, I think he more than did justice to the role, and loved all of his Bond movies, but woulda liked more films to "cement" him in.
So far the only Bond I've felt was HORRIBLE was Dalton (wimpy) and this new guy (not overly partial to blondes and he just does not seem to have the "Bond" feel to him in the interviews I've seen so far.)

Sam O'Neill could have been a great Bond-anyone see him in the "Reilly Ace of Spies" PBS miniseries?

"The world is not enough" Why? Becuase james Bond finally gets rid of that little pussified .32 Auto and gets a real pistol a .45ACP!!

Connery, because as Bond he nailed a hot blonde name Pussy Galore.  Who wouldn't?  Seriously though, Connery's Bond films were by far more entertaining than the rest.  Brosnan is second IMO, I thought Goldeneye was one of the best in the Bond series.

I think George Lazenby was the worst, I didn't like HMSS at all.  Does anyone know that Lazenby actually lied on his acting resume to get the job as Bond?  That's one of the reasons he was never used  in another Bond film.

In the last three films, Brosnan's Bond uses a Walther P99 9mm.  Walthers are not made in .45 ACP.

Cmon... Roger Moore was THE coolest bond.
