I was a supporter of the Jewish community until now.
First I would like to know why any Jew across the world would ever, ever concede to being disarmed?  More importantly why is it that some of your most vocal spokespersons call for the disarming of all civilians?    
So what changed my mind?  My house was burglarized recently and I know and everyone think that it was one of my oldest sons friends.  The police questioned my son and he told them he had no idea who did it and was completely cooperative to the point of telling them that they could ask him more questions if need be.  That was certainly the right thing to do.  However, the officer in charge of the case became incensed that my son would not give him the name of anyone who he thought might have done this crime.  My son?s position was that he had no idea and was not going to name any person for the sake of just giving up a name.  
The next day my son was arrested for obstruction and I know it was meant to be punitive.  I had to lay out money for bail and an attorney, a Jewish attorney.
When my son was arrested I asked the detective if he had a warrant?  I was told I would be arrested if I interfered.  I asked him again and I was told he did not have to show me anything.  I asked a third time and he flashed a document, which was clearly not a warrant, and another officer told me that I could see it at the station.  I went to the station and asked to see the warrant and I was denied three times even after bail was supposedly set.  Well we got a bail bondsman who tried to post bail only to be told by the municipality that there was no warrant so he could not post any bail.  That was no surprise to me.  The warrant was signed three hours after the arrest.
So why have I changed my support towards Jews?  After I related this story to the Jewish lawyer I just hired his response was, ?That?s alright.  They can do that if they want.?  I am not an attorney but I am an avid student of the law and there are clear definitions set out in the criminal code as to what an arrest is and how it must be handled.  My son was cuffed and dragged off to the station and not asked one question but constantly threatened with being raped and beaten in prison.
What upset me was this attorney?s attitude as it is beyond my understanding.  How any Jew would not be livid by this is not within my range of understanding.  Perhaps there is someone among you who could explain this to me.  
During the Nazi reign of terror millions of Jews were just carted away without due process without warrants and without anyone raising a finger to protect them and this is something that has happened repeatedly throughout your history.  If I were a Jew I would be the first one there to fight for a right any right.  I would be at the head of the line telling my representative that I deplored gun control and believed that everyman should be armed to fight against tyranny.  And make no mistake about it what happened to my son was nothing less than abuse of power.    
My son had joined the Marines and has been waiting to go to boot camp.  Will the Jews in this country call upon him one day to risk his life in a far off place called Israel in order to defend your homeland?  Or will you simply go on your way calling for more laws designed to do nothing more than continue to enslave while you go along with the illusion of freedom?  Will you continue to ask that we be disarmed so all may be in jeopardy of the ?death camp??

Sorry, but that is a pretty lame reason to suddenly become anti-Jew. I suppose since Hitler was German I should hate all Germans now?

Have you felt the same after every person of a race, other than your own, done something you don't like?

It's pretty short-sighted to condemn an entire race of people, due to a bad lawyer.

Assuming, for the sake of argument, your post makes even a scintilla of common sence, then . . . if you hire another jewish attorney and he feeds you a bunch of rhetoric you find acceptable ("the arrest was unlawful, this will not stand" . . . etc), will you then stop being an anti-Semite?

Will you constantly flip-flop opinions and over-generealize whole groups of people based on the actions of one person?

First, they can.

Second, at worst the guy is incompetent.  You don't have to be a Jew for that.

Third, maybe your son is bad news, and finally got caught.  Have him own up and move on.

There is a lot to this letter that was left out. I have many Jewish friends but I am saying I can no longer support the position of a people who in general work against themselves and the greater good of freedom outside their homeland. Many out spoken Jewish representatives are working very hard to disarm the American people. Look at who our greatest enemies are in congress. I have maintained my support of the communtity even though I disagree with their politics.
My point is the dicotomy between what they feel toward their national sovereignty, a land the vast majority do not live in, and what they are willing to sacfrifice for the rest of the world.
Sorry guys, don't hate Jews as a matter of fact I have many Jewish friends. Nowhere in the letter do I make such an inference. Taken in the complete context or out of context is there reason to come to that conclusion. I have seen many articles here condeming Jews for their  fight to maintain an Israel. Should I have taken that those people were anti-Jew or just against a position?

There are several problems there. If the LEO had probable cause that is enough to arrest him. It is weird that your son  wuld not cooperate. Was he involved or scared? is my next question.
Next if you want to hate the lawyer for not  doing his job, file a complaint with the Bar for incompetence or failure to represent. Trust me there is much more than the postt speaks....

Simple fact: Police hand out tickets.  They don't interpert the law, judges do.  While you probably don't have a case for wrongful arrest (which is what the lawyer is telling you) your son can probably beat the obstruction charge in court (if, in fact, he is not covering for one of his friends and the police don't uncover this fact).
Anyway, no reason to blame the Jews for this one.

If I were you I'd be pissed at either my son, the cops, or both.  I might be pissed at the atty too, but probably not as much.  And certainly not because his name is "Rosenbaum" or some other such nonsense.

Obstruction can't stick for your son just refusing to "name names."  It can only stick if he lies to the cops.  No one is under any *obligation* to help the police do anything.

JPFO, some pretty enthusiastic supporters of RKBA. Even gunowners disagree with each other over various issues, do stupid things to hurt the RKBA movement, and some are just plain Aholes that I can't understand. That doesn't make me want to become a gun hating socialist liberal though. I don't know any Jews personnally, to me they are just people, and I'm sure like any other people, some are probably Aholes and complete friggin morons, but I don't assume the entire race is like that.
