Everybody's situation is going to be different from the next guy (and girl). No matter what the scenario is for you, what ONE gun are you going to take with you to get you by until things settle down enough for you to start over.

For me, I'm taking my SIG P228. It may not be the "all around  weapon", but it's reliable, accurate, easily concealed and ammo is plentiful. I would have said my SOCOM, but it's kind of hard to conceal it when that time is necessary. So, it's me and my SIG P228 that I am depending on.

NOTE: My apologies if this is an often asked question. It's just that it's neat to hear what everyone else would rely upon when it comes down to one and one firearm only.

Glock 19

Concealable and reliable.

It will enable me to get to a rifle when I need it.

Well, not that one particular gun because pooby will have it, and I am not going to try and take it away from him. But one like it.

I would have to say a Remington 870 but there is one problem with that choice. What about a carry gun? Sorry I cant answer that question I would need two.
