My girlfriend noticed this mark that is on my arm, a few minutes ago. I think it's a stretchemark, since I was worked out more than usually today. Ran about 2 miles to the gym, then did about 20 pullups, then did dumb bell curls(35lbs-25 reps each arm). Did some overhead(30 reps) lat exercises and chest butterflies.(50 reps) Then ran/walked home. Any ideas?

jeez dude it's just an abraision or dry skin of some sort. i get it all the time. unless it's massively painful or doesn't go away after a couple days i wouldn't worry about it.

did your bra strap slip down your arm while you were working out?

Switch to a sport bra to keep that from happening in the future.

Looks like a stretch mark to me. I have a few in the same spot from lifting weights when I was younger.

Kinda looks like burst blood vessels inder the skin. Unless they keep expanding I wouldn't worry. I get them whenever I carry my duffels in from the car, the straps dig in and leave marks that look like that.

Looking at it more, I think it might be a burst blood vessel. I didnt pinch it, as I didnt carry anything in that area. But I was lifting weights, using those muscles. Its under the skin, it looks like dried blood, because at first I tried to wipe it off. Weird, I think its either a stretch mark, or bruised/burst blood vessel.

looks like an abrasion.

Stretchmarks are typically dark (violet or purplish in color)and often appear as several roughly parallel lines. My experience is that stretchmarks show when your muscles deflate or atrophy, not during a good pump. Bicep stretchmarks also tend to appear closer to the underarm. I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on tv.
