My question is why ?
If, a really big "if", the site was hacked by some Turkish peeps.... why HK-54  It's a disease of a forum, but it does provide "some" decent information from time to time. I bet money Bailey is on the phone with the FBI as we speak... SteyerAug, you had better be getting out of dodge

More thank likely..... same thing could happen if someone found their way into arfcom. Arfcom has a lot more security than Hk54 though... I bet Bailey is sharing an IP on a public hosting site.... they are very unsecure. I had a personal site of mine hacked a few years ago by some script kiddies. My hosting company said that there is nothin that they can do about it according to the law, even if they are within th US. I thought that was a crock of shit, but that was their answer  I believe Arfcom has dedicated rack servers or something... correct me if I'm wrong. |

Not necessarly. The site has been defaced, it's pretty much digital grafitti - people do it mostly to show it to others. What kind of info have people entered at the forum? The default phpbb setup stores nothing of interest for the muslem hackers except email addresses which might be sold to some spammer. And although the site has been defaced, it doesen't mean that they have been able to get access to the forum database with all the data. |
