I had a major crash with system 32 files corrupt or missing.

I did a workaround with the recovery console and am running on older system 32 files from a date in the past. Many of my programs are not working as the old system32 scripts for those programs are running where as what is on my hard drive are NEW versions of that software.

Any techies care to help me? On a good side note, battlefield 2 still works!

Download in install the latest service pack.  Should get you caught back up.  Service pack might not install unless Windows is started in normal and possible safe mode.
