And yes the movie was terrible. The books were great, and the British series was good. I haven't heard the radio version though.

Both answers are correct. To prove this I will demonstrate with the following:

I have a large bowl of cheese in front of me.

If I counted the cheese bits in my bowl I'd always come up with 42 pieces of cheese.

If asked how much cheese was in my bowl, the answer would be 87.

This really is quite simple.
