Call me superstitious, but I think there is too much bad karma hanging around with this gun.  What say yee?

If it was free, I'd turn around and sell it to fund other guns.

It's a piece of machined metal.  No different from any other model of that same gun.

It would make no difference to me - I'd pay whatever a simialr used gun of that type woudl normally cost (if I were looking for one).

Fuck yeah, I'd take it.

No, I'm not in the market for a revolver. The serial killer part means nothing to me. It's just a damn gun.

Someone wants it and has bid it up to $2000.  Its actually got lots of collector appeal especially with all the documentation and accessories.  Even the actual bullets, probably from the same box he used to kill these women.

With documentation this would be quite a collectors item. It does not interest me, but I can understand the appeal.

I love Dan Wessons so I would buy it, but not at that price.

From THE SURVIVORS:

ROBIN WILLIAMS (about  Jack's 1911 while in the police station): "Oh yeah? Well, while you're at it, why don't you tell him about the mule your great-grandmother got from Grant at Gettysburg."

I would, because it is a chunk of metal. Not to buy it makes as much sense as haveing the gun destroyed because it was used in a crime.

Here in Maine, we have the laws on the books so that if a family member of yours is killed by a gun in a murder, you can watch it be destroyed "for closure."

Wierd.

I would take it and give it to a woman that needs a revolver for self-defense (along with training if necessary) so she could shoot a serial killer.

I wouldn't take it for free.

It's too easy to get the same revolver without having to consider the pain associated with it.  I KNOW it's just a chunk of metal that was used by an asshole to hurt people but then, some folks think hearses are cool to drive and I wouldn't take one of those either.

I wonder what the piece of rope John Wayne Gacy used to strangle teen-aged boys to death would be worth? That DW's about the same thing to me.
