+1 My bedroom window opened right to the corner where the fuse box was - the hinge was even on the right side. I figure that gave me permission to click the master fuse on and off as needed for the ass clowns upstairs at my old place who would get home from work at 11:00 PM and start his music up for a half an hour or so. I'd hear him stomping across the floor to investigate but he had to go clear half-way around the apartment building to find the breaker. The electrician came out and changed it one week ... but the problem never did go away.

I used this method a few years ago when I lived in an apartment. My asshole neighbor thumped rap music all night every night. So I downloaded the theme song to Threes Company and Small Wonder, turned my speakers towards his wall, and cranked the stereo all day while I was at work.

We just pointed all the speakers and the subwoofers towards the ceiling, cranked up the knobs and played the opening beach landing scene in Saving Private Ryan over and over again until the neighbor came down and started bitching at us for a change. Being "that asshole" is fun sometimes
