Not after shooting it through car window glass.
I saw it done myself. Turns into rat shot quick. Not a .50 cal.....Granted.... I'd hate to stake my life on it taking down a BG. |

Car Glass? Nah....I'm just wondering about using big bore ARs for home defense. All of the big bore AR's (.50 Beowulf, .458 SOCOM, .499 L-W) are supposed to be able to shoot through a brick wall and kill whatevers on the other side of it. I wonder if the frangible stuff can kill a bad guy in the living room without punching through the exterior walls of your house. |

Not to hijack the thread, but where can you get the frangible ammo that is acceptable at indoor ranges?
My indoor range charges $29.00 a box for 50 rounds of .223 to use at their range. I pay it, but DANG!!! Anyone know where to get the cheap stuff????? |
