My first thought was that it's just a gimmick, but it looks pretty convincing. I thought it was pretty cool...pointless, maybe, but cool.

That is some weird shit. If this , as the site implies is real technology than the skies the limit. I see some very serious military applications here.
Imagine some terrorists on a plane pulling a gun out to do some harm and suddenly the gun shrinks into a useless blob of metal... The look on his face would be priceless.

Won't work. The energy requirements are incredible. The effect is not transferable over distance like a "ray gun" that you might be thinking about. No, I am not a physicist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. |
