Okay I am pretty good at imageready now not perfect but lets say famailar with the program.

I was wondering how to make animated .gifs from video clips ?

I know we have some image ready experts around here..

I don't know that ImageReady will do it alone; you might need After Effects.
My copies are rather old now (ver 7) and it won't allow importing any video format,,,, and I don't have After Effects at all, I'm just guessing, since that is the Adobe video editor.

Seems like most of the movie-to-gif converters I have heard of were avi-to-gif. I have Paint Shop Pro 7 that has Animation Shop 3, and it will do raw (uncompressed) avi-to-gif in basically one step.
