I owned one for a few years,Sold it when I got an offer I could not refuse.
Good gun, If you want a piston gun that uses AR Mags (& folds to the side) my personel preference is the Daewoo K2. |

Subject to same regs as foriegn made AUGs/AKs/ect. So basically "yes" but it needs the right amount of US made parts, and I dont see that happening in the near future, but people said that about the AUG and Sig rifles and they seem like they might show up so who knows. I heard Rapid Fire was working on one. (If a BATF classified "assault" type rifle was imported in the USA before 1989 it does not require the US parts- and I assume this FNC pictured was imported before then) |

And if FN did (make one for the US market), ... guarenteed that 50% of ARFCOM'ers would find something to gripe about... Does the furniture come in desert tan?... Will it come with a single point sling attachment?... The pistol grip is teh gHeY... No way would I buy a gun that doesn't match/compliment my Dockers and fanny pack... Hmmmmpf... looks like a TAPCO'ized SIG 556... |

3-4 years ago they were fairly inexpensive... $1800 or so... They really went up in the span of a year. I think S&H found a box of F/A sears or somthing.

Most here in the US *were* SA. About two years ago a bunch of RDIAS were released (like AcidGambit posted) and the prices for FNCs tripled. |

I've owned 3 FNC paratrooper/folder models.
I think they are nice guns. After all was said and done, I sold off all the FNC's and kept my AR15. I suppose that about sums it up. I think the AR15 is a better gun. |
