Opposite end from what I know. I lived in LasCruces for a time....we'd go hiking in the Organ Mtns nearly every w/e...so I could see trees. It was very nice on the north face of the Organs.

Ahhh hiking in the Sandia...  It's a pretty cool little hike and just outside of ABQ too.  I spend six months down there at Kirtland for Gunner school.  I remember standing up there one afternoon, after a brief period of silence I looked at my buddy and said this.

"Mos Eisley Spaceport Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."

Afterwards we celebrated the perfect quote with a few margarita's at Kelly's on Central.

When I go for a walk in the wilderness, it's a bunch of trees, mud and damp creek beds.  Lucky.

VERY nice Dv8xbox!

I live in Chavez County, Roswell to be more precise. Bitter Lake is just 7 miles
away, 15 minutes by car. Rarely do I find anyone thier but me.
Nice place to relect and gather your thought's.

Cheap housing and taxes, but damn...jobs are few, and far between!

1829, what is the deer population like in the roswell area?  Are there just mulies or are there also whitetail out there?  All these pixs are beautiful to a flat lander on the gulf coast.  It's not that I don't like where I am, but that variety is truly the spice of life.
