- But, but, but nobody did anything wrong we are told?  There was no such order we are told?  We're all just tin-foil nut cases that think they will happily take guns when told to do so, even from an elderly woman then left to fend for herself.

This is just propaganda.

All talk.  Gun control is up to us, the average gun owner.  People write off the NRA as an evil lobbying group that lies.  We know that's not true but they don't listen at all as soon as they see that it's the NRA or a rep of the NRA speaking.  We need to be out there working like the crazy ass pro choice people spreading the word, handing out flyers with actual stats that can be independantly verified and not argued with.  Everytime a positive outcome gun incident happens we need to make it news, get loud about it, spread the word that a gun saved a life, a gun owner saved a life.  Every time a negative gun incident happens we need to be digging for the laws that were broken so they could obtain that gun.  9 out of 10 gun crimes happen with a gun that was obtained illegally.  We need to do everything we can to point out the lack of effectivness of gun control legislation.  This is all on us gentlemen.  Lapierre can talk all damn day and it won't do any good as ignored as he is by everyone BUT us.  We can reach the libtards better than he can.

We've also got to use NO to get hunters on our side.  We've got to band together and stop being our own worst enemies.

How do I join your group?

Of course we need to do those things... It's tough to get that stuff out there though. We had a big pro-CCW incident in 2005 that was just kind of shrugged at in the media...

The startling thing I've noticed recently is that more liberals are arming themselves. Of course they're only doing it because they're afraid of the Conservative government but, hey...

I think for every liberal that buys a gun 1-2 of them will get bit by the bug.  Eventually they may see the fun in it and pay attention to some facts.  They want guns out of fear that the government won't help them.  Lots of us want guns because we know 911 isn't as quick as reaching to your belt.  A few are coming around slowly.

Yeah, scary, innit?

The thing that sucks is, they always make it sound like they did it - after careful thought and appropriate rumination - to oppose the ShrubCo/Halliburton War Machine or some crap like that.

And I still wonder what they'll do with them once a Dem takes the White House back someday.

But eyes have been opened and I hope it will continue to happen.
