Watching The Shield just now...saw a commercial for an upcoming movie: "The Hills Have Eyes"

ANOTHER FVCKING REMAKE of an old movie...Hollywood really HAS lost all of its creativity.

hollywood is absolute shit nowadays.  i think i've been to the movies 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years.

if they continue to pump out garbage, i'll continue to spend my money on something worthwile.

btw, hasn't every single fucking movie made in the last 12 months been a shitty remake or based on a videogame?

It is about money not creativity. It costs less money to remake and there is less of a chance if it being a flop because the film uses the success of the first to market the remake. With the right actors a remake makes enough money for it to be viable.

Just wanted to add that Hollywood has allways remade films over and over again. I believe it took three tries before we got the successful the maltese falcon with bogart.
