I had a 2000 Nissan Maxima do the same thing. The dealership replaced the temp sensor (adjusts air/fuel mix) and cured it. Hope that helps.

I don't know anything about Nissan's but in my neck of the woods this is usually symptomatic of water in fuel.
Can also be crank sensor in some engines, but usually not this consistant.
