I come from an academic background, where one of the worst errors you can commit is to include anothers words or ideas with your own and not give credit to the author or the thinker who said it first. I do not do this to drop names.

On a related note, I often pass on information that others have given me, without commentary, in order that others may consider them. Thus, when you see in a post of mine "it has been reported" or "so and so says" I am merely presenting information for consideration.

Reading comprehension is crucial.

Seriously, the 4xys end of the table was ANYTHING but academic.

However, feel free to "name drop" my name at random for anything you wish to say. You have my permission to completely and totally fabricate quotes, titles, and degrees to go along with my name in order to support your argument. It's cool man.

However if you do it in a paper you're screwed. Maybe.

ETA: You cannot however make up quotes that have something to do with me being gay, that's the only rule.
