If you don't own a Garand you need one. They're gonna go up in value soon as the CMP is drying up apparently.

Garand. Suppressors are being constantly manufactured. Garand supply is drying up!

Garand will go up in value. You'll never get your money back out of a suppressor. I'd go with the M1 first.

Get a Garand, then wait until you have the money for a .30-06 can, and put it on your Garand.

I've actually been going through the same debate. I've got a 5.56mm can but want a 7.62mm can as well.
I really don't have the time for the toys I have so I'm leaning towards a Garand semi-safe queen.
