Was a thread earlier today about what beers people like and I was inspired to go back
to one of my old favorites.......Hefeweizen beer.  Picked up some made by Shiner.

My oh my....it's delish.  Why oh why did I go so long without one (or two, three...five).

Dude, it's Monday.

Orange Juice, Gatorade, and maybe a Sun Drop. Beer comes tomorrow night.

Well....yesterday was the end of my 5-day shift.  So it's my Saturday in a way.  I don't go back to work until Friday.

Just cracked open a Long Trail Double Bag Ale        "Stickebier" German slang for Secret Brew 7.2%
I'm using it to chase down an assortment of Almonds Cashews and Peanuts

I know it's Monday  my night sucked  ( working nights this week )
I didn't even realize that I had any beer in the house

Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown ( Home of the Baseball Hall Of Fame ) makes an Ale that's 8.5%

Yeah I'm just gonna have this one and call it quits you wouldn't think going from 4 or 5% to 7% would make a difference but I notice it

There's another Brewery in Lake Placid ( ubuale.com) and they sell an Ale called Frostbite Ale ( not listed on website)
Well my brother brought a half gallon jug of this stuff over for a BBQ it was over 7% and I had no idea
I was already pounding some other beers and then I went to town on the Frostbite Ale ( not a good experience )

Im drinking a Sweet Water 420 Pale Ale. It showed up today as one of the selections of my beer of the month club (no joke). Not to bad. The beer of the month club is really cool, get a 12 pack delivered to the door every month of of different beers from around the US.
