Anybody know where the AR is that was used by Curt Lemay to pop melons at that legendary 4th of July picnic?  Sure hope that somebody has preserved it for history...  As the story has been told, Lemay was so impressed with the AR he was using outback at this get-together that he made a verbal contract, on the spot, for 80,000 ARs to replace his aging Air Police M-2s.

Being the one rifle that could be credited with beginning the AR-15's future...what would that AR go for at a Butterfields' auction?
