Just spent 3+ hours shovelling my driveway.  

What would be a good snowblower for occasional suburban 15" of snow type use?

i prefer to buy american if possible

Cub Cadet not the cheapest but damn good! This is the wrong time to buy a snow blower.

You don't have to buy the most expensive Snow Blower. Don't know if places like Home Depot would have any left at this time of year. I bought mine during the summer.

Home Depot has 50% off thier snowblowers around here now,maybe there also? I just bought a 13 hp ariens (reg $1749) for $850.also made in USA.

I like my Troy-Bilt.  I live near Philadelphia and we usually get only one or two big storms each season, so I got the smallest of their two-stage units.  Ordered it directly from them and they shipped it to my door for the same price before tax I would've paid for the same model at the local Lowe's, at which I would've had to pay sales tax and get a 200 lb. box home.
