I had water leaking in to the trunk on an Oldsmobile 98 that I had - from two places. One was in the channel that holds the seal for the trunk deck lid - there was a seam there and the glue applied at the factory had flexed and cracked so water could drip slowly in. It was also coming in from a defective rear window seal.
I didn't have a sub to worry about, so I just took out the carpeting and padding and drilled a hole in the spare tire area to let any accumulated water out. That was after trying in vain to seal the leaks with a couple of different quality caulking compounds.
If you want to fix it, take it to a place that offers a guarantee and pay a couple hundred dollars.

On a dry day you might be able to locate the leak with a garden hose - but that will probably have to wait a few months.
