OK, I put a pint down on the desk, and some off it melted off the container onto the top of my antique wood desk. I did not notice it, and it hardened. Yes, stupid me.

How can I remove it without damage to the wood or finish? Too late?

Really appreciate any good removal suggestions from the experts.

No, refinished by my sainted Mother some 20+ years ago.
