It seems like in the late 80's/yearly 90's you could buy all sorts of cool stuff--that gun from Heat, AK's galore for cheap, SIGs, AUGs, etc. If you count the 50's and 60's, pre-GCA, as the Golden Age, when you could buy machineguns and military surplus for cheap, , and rifles by mail order, I suppose that the late 80's would be the Silver Age.

And now...we can again buy SIG-55x series rifles (if cosmetically challenged), the P-90, the SCAR, the bat-gun, standard cap mags, and so on. Plus all sorts of neat carry guns.

Is this a great country or what.
