So here I am doing a paper, and my sleeping roommate farts; a bad one. I can't stop and vacate my room as of right now, so I put on my Soviet M-41 Ardvark gas mask w/ filter. Works like a charm.

that's why I became an RA as fast as I could. Was an RA in the freshman hall for several years; I kept getting older, they stayed the same age.

Whenever I find a good deal on the EE with pics, I tell my Korean roommate to come and look at this great deal. He thinks I'm crazy. "Dude whenever I come in you're looking at guns."

I didn't have a roomate in college, we had our own rooms and shared a bathroom. Fortunately, we got along great and became great friends. When situations like the one above would happen, it was because we were looking at pictures of guns together....or porn. The standard response when someone would make the comment 'Every time I come in here you two are looking at porn or guns' was 'Yeah? well why aren't you?, what are you some kind of queer democrat? This is a men's dorm and we will look at as much porn and guns as we can find. If there was a porn site with chicks holding guns, it would really speed things up'

I still keep in touch with him, he was a 330lb redneck named Kevin, but we knicknamed him Biscuit. We used to go squirell hunting with 410s in the spring and duck hunting in the winter...not with 410s.

Our rooms were constantly 'inspected randomly'. it was a ry campus, and we always had booze. I miss tose days.

Aside from the smell (yes, he has an odor to him) and him watching ESPN 5 hours a day, I have no complaints. Overall a good guy. Him and his friends have noodle parties.

Oh, and I have no classes on friday, and on the days I do have class, none begin before 1230.

Oh man..... When I was a freshman in college I scared the BEJESUS out of my roommate one night. Aparrantly (I half remember it happening) I was sleeping and I propped myself up on one elbow on my bed then looked over at him with my eyes still closed. I just said "guns, ahhhhhh!" and laid back down

3 days worth of scrambled eggs, chili, small can of baked beans washed down with a few brews of choice... a peanut butter sammich here and there is good too.... By day three they will quarentine your dorm

Its even better teaching. I rip a nasty beer fart and blame it on the kid that has been farting all year and call "mailbox" ( a modern version of doorknob, but we dont have a mailbox with in 500 yds of the school, just a mail bin) and let the Seniors deal with it.
God I wish I turn back the clock.

ETA get some big wooden kitchen matches. Light one, for some reason they eliminate the smell. We always had a big box by the toilet at my old duck hunting club.

No class Fridays, and only 1 50 min class @ 10 on MW. I do work 25-30 hrs/ week though. (taking 16 credits)
