We must ensure this doesn't come to pass.

Because there's something even worse than that: a Democrat-majority Congress.  Unless you like the idea of flushing billions down the toilet on feel-good social programs that are utterly ineffective.

I agree guys... But let's face it. Anyone who isn't in one of the two major parties in America has an extremely low likelihood of getting elected.

It's a de facto two party system.

And with how we got burned with Perot in '92, it's no surprise.

BS! both parties have abandaned fiscal responsibility and the hope of smaller limited government. It's down to a choice of bad and worse. I vote Republican because I consider them the lesser of two evils.

These things almost never translate to actual elections.  Everyone "hates" Congress but thinks that "their" Congressman is one of the good guys.  Public feels the same about pork.  Every project in their district is the "exception."  Congressional elections are rarely about voting for the party, or trying to check a President, which is why 1994 was so significant because it was one of the few times that it actually did happen.

It is, however, a bad cycle for the Republicans in the Senate because they have more vulnerable seats up for election than do the Demonrats, but there is little to no chance for a change in the House.

Fuck Perot...and fuck Bush I! If he had been a decent president to start with he would have been able to defeat Clinton and Perot both.
